ESTABLISHMENT AND PLACE OF BUSINESS

At the beginning of privatization, on 23th September in 1992 a new company PHARMACOPOLA s.r.o. was established from one part of State veterinary service. Company PHARMACOPOLA is oriented on supllying of veterinary medicaments, equipments, imunopreparates and medicament feed preparations for veterinarians and agricultural enterprises. Company founders were MVDr. Greguš Ján, MVDr. Weiss Viliam and Mgr. Koloňová Soňa. First place of business was an individual area in building of State veterinary administration on SNP street 612/120 in Žiar nad Hronom, later with the company growth, new area was needed. New facility was established on Sládkovičova street 8, after that until the present place of business is on Svätokrížske square 11 in Žiar nad Hronom.

DEVELOPMENT

Supplying companies contacts, customer network and technical equipment of the company quickly expanded. Expansion of goods range was allowed by listing of products from foreign pharmaceutical companies, which besides domestic producers, owned a major supplying positions. Customers database continued to expand. In 1996, we established new 6 representative centers for our customers: in Trnava, Stupava, Veľký Krtíš, Michalovce, Levice and in Brezno. In the Spring of 1997 we decided to create a representative centre in Prešov, which as the only one is still available up to this day. To satisfy higher and on time delivery needs, were established representative centers also in Zvolen, Dunajská Streda, Lučenec and Galanta.

Market development, technical equipment in the transport, storage and IT technologies and mainly focus on the economy gave the rise of an idea to create the positions of sales representatives, which gradually replaced less effective representative centers, which gradually ceased to exist. The whole business was launched through a central warehouse in Žiar nad Hronom and representative centre in Prešov. Businnes objectives were also increasing. To the wholesale distribution of veterinary medicines, veterinary products, equipment and own logistics we also added a distribution of pet food Royal Canin by signing the contract for exclusive distribution in November 2001.

18 years on the market equals 18 years of experience, stability, continuous improvement and expansion of services, investment and quality of work of people, who were at its birth but also those who are gradually putting shoulder to the wheel.
